What’s up Geese,,

Welcome to beehiiv, our new newsletter platform we’ll be using! Glad you found the place! Any trouble with traffic? No? Good. Find parking okay? What’s that? You want to know why I’m imagining a whole conversation? Well, isn't that just what a newsletter is?

Anyway,  it’s an exciting time to be a goose, silly or otherwise, and we’ve got some fun announcements to share with the flock!

1. Issue #4 is out now! We’re super excited to share some incredible work with the world, and we’re so proud of all our new and returning contributors. It’s been a lot of time and effort (and probably some blood, sweat, and tears from some of us), and we’d love for you to give the Silly Goose a gander here!

2. Silly Goose Press is headed to LA! We missed the boat on flying south for winter, so instead we’re flying west for AWP! Come say “Hi” at our table (T919), get some merch, take our spinny wheel of prizes for a spin, and have some fun with the editors! If you can’t make it to the table, still honk at us from afar if you see us out and about. We’d love to meet you all!

3. Time, like geese, flies. This means it’s already almost time for Issue #5! Our submission period for Issue #5 opens on April 1st. No, this isn’t a prank. Send us your craft-forward whimsy starting on April 1st!

And that’s all we got! The Flock is off to AWP this week, and I’m sure we’ll have more news shortly, until then, be sure to check out Issue #4, and come by our table at AWP if you’re there!
