Minis! AWP!! Announcements!!!

HONK!!!!!! It’s that time again! Another month, another newsletter!! The flock is coming at ya with updates and some stuff to put on your calendars, so keep a weather eye on the horizon!

1. Our Mini Issues are live!! We loved compiling these little collections for you all, so be sure to check them out.  HERE!!

2. Issue Six  is out November 20! This is one of our best yet and we’re so flocking excited to drop it into the pond. We’ve got some new and exciting voices in all of our genres for you, and we’ll be very hurt and disappointed and will cry for days if you don’t read their wonderful words.Honk!

3. HUGE HONKIN’ NEWS: SGP is hatching a new series this January: The Winter Whimsy Web Series! For the first time in Goose history, we will be bringing you some extra special poetry magic like never before. Stay tuned! 

4. Reminder that we’re coming to AWP in March AND hosting an after-hours event on Thursday, March 5th (details forthcoming). If you’re in a pickle about whether to go get a good night’s sleep or to come party at the Pond, we hope you make the right choice (come party at the Pond!!!)

We would also like to note that we are CLOSED for submissions until the new year! While we love getting your work, please do not send any to us until our next submission period. The geese are tired, but when subs open again in the Big 2026, you better believe we want to read your work. 

And I think, if I’m reading my notes correctly, and I like to think that I am, that’s all we got for you! GO READ THE MINIS!!!!!
